The Working Principles of Air Sterilizer for Hospital:

2.Plasma generator is a special high voltage positive and negative ion generator. With a serrated positive electrode, it continuously produces high-energy and high-concentration positive ions. We need to use positive ions to sterilize the air. The positive ions needed is determined by the size of the room. The high concentration of positive ions makes bacteria and respirable particulate matter in the air (including the haze PM2.5) to be surrounded by positive ions, allowing them to quickly obtain a saturated charge. The flat positive electrode has a high electrostatic field strength (8 kV high voltage), and charged particles and bacteria will quickly adsorb to the positive plate. Bacteria rapidly undergo electrolysis under the action of positive ions, bacterial electrolytes are destroyed, and cell membranes are destroyed, leading to death.
At the same time, the plasma generator can generate high concentrations of negative ions through a high voltage electric field of 15,000 volts. When both positive and negative ions are present, the positive and negative ions are neutralized by charge. In the process of neutralization, various bacteria in the air are more effectively killed. At the same time we also need negative ions. Therefore, in the design process, it is intentionally designed to have a negative ion concentration of 2 times the positive ion concentration. After the positive and negative ion charge is neutralized, half of the negative ions remain. Negative ions are trapped by oxygen in the air to become negative oxygen ions. Negative oxygen ions have the effects of sterilization, smoke elimination, dust removal, odor removal, and formaldehyde removal, thereby improving air quality.
